You can find a quick overview of the services offered by the University Library of Passau under First Steps. For example, our step-by-step videos and tutorials demonstrate how to conduct a search and borrow literature. A first spatial orientation is provided by the 360° virtual tours of the reading rooms. The service desks in the five reading rooms are available to answer your questions about library use. If you have subject-specific research inquiries, you may also contact the respective subject librarian listed on our subject information pages (in German).
Throughout the year, we offer a diverse training program for both members and non-members of the University. The individual sessions are tailored to the information needs arising in the different stages of academic learning and research. Our offerings are aimed at target groups such as school classes, students, teaching staff, and doctoral candidates. In addition, we are happy to respond to further training requests (e.g., from administrative staff) upon request.
