You can check your library account at any time to see which items you have borrowed, ordered or reserved. You can check the loan periods and extend them if possible and change your password for the Passau search portal.
Login to the Passau Search Portal under Account: Library account sign-in
The library user number is printed on the reverse of the CampusCard or the green library card. It is an 11-digit number starting with 064 (CampusCard/library user card).
Please note that your library user number is not the same thing as the ZIM username, which is required for logging onto the university’s WiFi and other systems, and is only given to staff and students of the University.
When you first log on, and until you change it, your password is your date of birth written as a 4-digit number in the DDMM format. For instance, if 22 April is your birthday, your password is 2204. Recommendation: You should immediately replace this system-assigned password with one of your own.
