The Working Group Research Data Management cordially invites all interested members of the University of Passau to the three-part event series Love Data Series. The aim is to place greater emphasis on the conscious and sustainable handling of research data in scientific practice and at the same time to draw attention to the wide range of support services available at the University.

Whether professors, early career researchers or students – anyone who conducts research produces data. But how can this data be meaningfully documented, secured, shared or published?

The event series offers application-oriented solutions, subject-specific insights from various faculties and space for interdisciplinary exchange of experiences. It is aimed at anyone who deals with research data or would like to do so in the future – regardless of their field of study or level of experience.

You can attend the event without prior registration – spontaneously on site or digitally via the Zoom links provided or directly via Stud.IP.

The Working Group looks forward to your participation and joint exchange!

Schedule of the event series

Who is behind the Research Data Management Working Group and how does it specifically support researchers? The kick-off event on site will provide answers: it offers an insight into the diverse range of services offered by the working group, followed by a compact introduction to the basic principles of RDM.

FDM accompanies the entire research process – from acquiring third-party funding to ensuring the long-term reusability of research data. The third event in the series highlights the expectations of funding institutions, presents effective publication strategies and discusses ethical aspects of FDM.
