As of today, all students and staff members of the University of Passau have access to BibBot, the University Library’s AI-based chatbot. To use BibBot, simply log in at https://bibbot.uni-passau.de/ using your ZIM credentials. You can also find it on our landing page and in our contact information.
BibBot serves as a virtual information assistant that can answer your questions about the University Library’s services and resources around the clock. The chatbot’s responses are based on verified information from our website; literature searches for individual titles in our collection are not part of its feature set. In addition to the integrated feedback functions, you can also contact our support team directly in any chat session by selecting “Create Ticket”.
Please note that responses generated by artificial intelligence should always be critically evaluated, as automatically generated content may contain potential biases or inaccuracies.
